Are you looking for someone to take your show from a simple idea all the way to a reality? I can do that. I've done it working with brands like Disney, YouTube, Sony PlayStation, iHeartMedia and Cycle For Survival. With the right budget I can put on shows from a few bullet points of ideas to a full blown yearly tent-pole event. From building show rundowns, production schedules & calendars to managing a budget, I have the skills and the roster to get a project up and running in a matter of a few weeks.
When not leading a team, I am a great addition to any team with experience in a wide variety of auxiliary producer roles including run of show/format building, production scheduling, floor producing, graphics management, live playback producing and music supervision.
From offline editing to online editing to sound mix I have experienced traditional in-person post production workflow as well as remote workflow using tools like Frame.io and Evercast to edit and get notes and approvals from thousands of miles away.
As seen on the background of the home page, this is my Demo Reel which features several productions I was lucky enough to produce in my career. I actually edited this demo myself on Adobe Premiere.
Shooting in an amusement park is not easy but shooting in two amusement parks is even harder. In 2016, when our hosts were not able to be in one place to shoot their Disney Channel Holiday special we used the magic of television to bring them together. Here is the opening music video, "Jolly To The Core" from that special, featuring Sofia Carson, Booboo Stewart, Dove Cameron and the late Cameron Boyce, "The Descendants" shot at both Disneyland in Anaheim, CA and the Magic Kingdoom at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL.
For five years I had the honor of producing the Scientific & Technical Awards (Sci-Tech Awards) ceremony for The Academy (AMPAS). The show celebrates and honors the minds behind some of the best special effects, props and software used in motion pictures. I was privelged to work with hosts like Margot Robbie & Miles Teller, Olivia Munn & Jason Segel, Leslie Mann & John Cho, Sir Patrick Stewart and David Oyelowo.
Behind-the-scenes featurettes are one of my favorite bonuses on DVD & Bluray discs. Sometimes the story of how something got made can be even more interesting than the project itself. Here is a quick BTS bumper I produced for "A Christmas Story Live" which aired on FOX.
In 2020, at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, many of us in Television & Film were left to "pivot". I was fortunate enough to be able to produce remotely on edit heavy projects like "The Disney Family Singalong Vol 2" and "Dear Class of 2020", where we learned what happens when you take the cast of the most popular modern comedy series, "Schitt's Creek" and an absolute music icon, Mariah Carey, and throw them on a video call together.
"How do you produce a live awards show in a pandemic?"
This question would be answered by the 72nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards and I was a part of that historic moment. Here's a clip of one of the remote nominees I produced, Jeremy Strong who won the Emmy for Lead Actor in a Drama Series for "Succession".
The last seven years when not working on big network events, I've been working on my passion project, The School of Hard Knocks. A documentary about where I got my start, the independent professional wrestling promotion. It's where I produced my first show and this film tells the history of that organization and its leader. The film is almost complete and I'm hoping to share it late 2022.
